System for promoting Risk management

We promote the establishment of a risk management system, and regularly share information, identify issues, and resolve issues.

Corporate Ethics and Risk Management Committee

Status : Under direct control of Representative Director, President and CEO (the president supervises the committee)
Membership : Representative Director, Vice President and Executive Officer and CFO, directors and executive officers of operating companies, etc.
Role : Strengthen and ensure the proper functioning of a system of compliance with corporate ethics, and develop and strengthen a system for evaluating and managing the whole range of risks associated with business operation(In April 2017, the Corporate Ethics Committee and Risk Management Committee were merged into the Corporate Ethics and Risk Management Committee in order to promote more effective corporate ethics and risk management).

Subcommittee for Compliance

The Committee shall discuss and decide matters regarding the compliance management sysyten and other important matters.

  • Analysis of compliance risks, and reporting of the results to the Corporate Ethics and Risk Management Committee
  • Perioducal review of compliance-related manuals and regulations, and determination of employee education policies

Quality Assurance Council

The Council shall promote quality assurance activities in accordance with Quality Assurance Regulations.

  • Activities to promote a quality philosophy and to achieve targets
  • Promotion and coordination of quality assurance activities in each division
  • Guidance and other activities to ensure compliance with product-related laws
    (Secretariat: Quality Assurance Dept.)

Subcommittee for BCP and Disaster Control Measures

The Committee shall works to prevent and respond to emergencies such as accidents and disasters.

  • Requests regarding emergencies such as accidentes and disasters, and preparatory measures for responding to emergencies.
  • Information collection, response activities, provision of quidance and support during an emergency
  • Response to crimes, scandals, etc.

Subcommittee for Information Security

Promotion of information security risk reduction, such as information leakage

  • Formulation of policies and action plans related to information security in general
  • Deliberation on strategic investments related to information security
  • Provision of guidance and advice to Group companies in the promotion of information security
