Quality Assurance Promotion Structure and the Functions It Plays

Quality Assurance Inquiry Committee

To promote its efforts to enhance quality assurance, the Wacoal Group has established the Quality Assurance Inquiry Committee as the Group's highest governing body for quality assurance. Major tasks of the Committee include the establishment, revision, abolition and approval of the rules and standards applied to the Wacoal Group concerning product quality, and the handling, correction and prevention of problems or potential problems arising from product quality.

Quality Control Committee

Each company of the Wacoal Group has established a Quality Control Committee, as an organ responsible for promoting quality assurance for their products. The Quality Control Committee has set detailed quality assurance regulations in line with the Wacoal Basic Quality Assurance Policy, and is working on the promotion of quality control.

Product Guaranty Division

The Product Guaranty Division is responsible for promoting the activities of the Quality Assurance Inquiry Committee and the Quality Control Committee in order to build a system to ensure the safety of the products and services offered to customers and enhance customer satisfaction. Under the Division, there are four subordinate organs: the Quality Guaranty Section (in charge of establishing the entire Group's quality assurance system and promoting quality assurance in compliance with laws and regulations, engaged in the building and management of ISO9001-based quality control systems and dealing with inquiries from customers), and the Products Testing Center (responsible for conducting product inspection, and developing and implementing quality standards). Through these two functions, the Product Guaranty Division centrally carries out thorough quality control.
