Wacoal Group Social Media Policy
Wacoal Holdings Corp. and its consolidated subsidiaries (together with Wacoal Holdings, hereinafter referred to as "our Company") stipulate that our Company is to observe the following stance and conduct regarding social media and associated services (hereinafter referred to as "Services") officially provided by our Company.
(1) Scope of application
This policy applies to all customers (hereinafter referred to as "Users") who use the social media and Services officially provided by our Company.
(2) Definition of social media
Here, our Company defines social media to be "media through which Service Users themselves communicate by sending and receiving information" in Services that take place on the Internet and use its technology.
(3) Purpose of use
We will use social media as part of our activities for communicating with Users through products, brands, Services, and other activities.
(4) Our responsibilities
- Our Company's staff will be fully aware that they represent our Company, and will always strive to share information responsibly. Furthermore, in conducting activities, they will recognize that due to the nature of the Internet, published information cannot be deleted, and can be viewed by a large and unspecifiable number of people.
- When sharing information, we will comply with the laws and regulations, and strive to achieve appropriate operation in accordance with our Company's compliance regulations.
- Due to the nature of social media, not all of the information we share via them will have been checked beforehand, we will sometimes correct it at a later date. Please understand this in advance. - We will create internal operating regulations and manuals, and strive to ensure that appropriate operation is possible.
(5) As a social media participant
- As social media Users, our Company's staff will humbly listen to what Users say.
- We will take the utmost care not to infringe other parties' copyrights or other rights.
- Furthermore, we will always strive to provide a humane response.
(6) To all Users
- We do not guarantee the accuracy of information provided by our Company's Services, by Users, or by any other parties. Furthermore, we will assume no liability regarding coming into contact with unpleasant, harmful, or inappropriate information as a result of using our Company's Services, or for any damage suffered by Users or third parties as a result thereof.
- We will handle personal information in accordance with our Company's privacy policy.
- We will strive to check all the comments we receive and respond to them promptly, but do not promise that we will always reply to them.
- We may use comments we receive as analytical data for our Company's future activities, for marketing, and for other purposes.
- Regarding inquiries sent to the social media and answering them, we will state the response rules in the social media's own basic information.
