Medium-Term Management Plan 2029
(Fiscal Years Ending March 2027 to March 2029)
Domestic Business Strategy
Key Initiatives for Domestic Business under Medium-Term Management Plan 2029
In our domestic business, we will enhance profitability by reviewing our existing business structure in response to changes in the market environment and consumer behavior, while simultaneously building a foundation for future growth through the creation of new value.
In addition to strengthening our core innerwear business, we will expand our business domains through the development of new products and services in the areas of beauty, comfort, and health.
We will also accelerate the utilization of digital technologies and customer data to deliver personalized value to each customer, fostering long-term customer relationships and achieving sustainable growth.
Reconstruction
In the domestic market, shrinking demand for innerwear and changes in sales channels have made the transformation of our earnings structure an urgent priority.
Leveraging the customer insights and body data expertise we have accumulated over many years, we will reconstruct our business into an "Empowerment Solution" business that provides solutions for both body and mind, with innerwear at its foundation.
We will also expand our conditioning wear brand, CW-X, strengthen our e-commerce channels, and develop new business formats.
Furthermore, we will enhance profitability through optimized pricing, measures to address rising manufacturing costs, and organizational restructuring, thereby building a business foundation capable of responding flexibly to changes in the business environment.
Innovation
We will create new value beyond the boundaries of our existing businesses by leveraging the customer insights and body data expertise we have cultivated over many years.
Through initiatives such as expanding the application of our 3D body scanning service SCANBE, developing new materials and businesses utilizing our proprietary Melooop technology, and creating new businesses based on SPIRAL, a unique cultural asset of Wacoal, we aim to generate new customer value and expand business opportunities.
Through these efforts, we will build new earnings foundations that support future growth.
DX Strategy
We will further accelerate the digitalization of customer touchpoints and provide a seamless customer experience across stores, e-commerce, and apps.
In addition to enhancing personalized recommendations and OMO (Online Merges with Offline) initiatives through the utilization of customer data, we will promote demand-linked production and business process transformation through the use of generative AI, achieving both enhanced customer value and improved productivity.
Enhancing Execution Capabilities
(Establishment of the Structural Reform Office)
Under Medium-Term Management Plan 2029, we have introduced a framework to ensure steady implementation of the plan and enhance the effectiveness of key initiatives.
Wacoal Corp. has established a new Structural Reform Office that reports directly to the President. The office will monitor the progress of initiatives across the organization and lead issue resolution from both management and company-wide perspectives when challenges arise.
To promote the execution of the Medium-Term Management Plan, twelve working groups have been established to define specific action plans, KPIs, and milestone targets for each initiative.
By continuously monitoring progress and leading cross-functional problem-solving efforts, the Structural Reform Office will strengthen both the feasibility and execution capability of the plan.

Human Capital Management
To realize Medium-Term Management Plan 2029, we will actively recruit and develop a diverse range of specialized talent.
Through strategic recruitment, support for autonomous career development, and initiatives to strengthen management capabilities, we will build an organization capable of driving transformation while reinforcing the human capital foundation that supports sustainable enhancement of corporate value.
Revenue and Business Profit Plan
Through the strategic concentration of resources on selected business domains and channels, we aim to achieve both revenue growth and earnings growth in our domestic business.
By the fiscal year ending March 2031, we aim to achieve the revenue and business profit targets originally set in the Revised Medium-Term Management Plan.
