Wacoal Group Information Security Basic Policy
The Wacoal Group aims to be an organization that is always trusted by all shareholders through appropriately protecting information assets held in the course of business. In addition to fulfilling its social responsibility as a company, the Wacoal Group also recognizes that the secure and strategic use of information assets through DX measures and other means is essential for improving corporate value, such as sustainable growth and increased competitiveness.
Based on this belief, the Wacoal Group has established a management system for information security, and all employees and related parties will work together to maintain and improve information security in accordance with the following basic policy.

The Wacoal Group regards information security as an important management issue, and under the leadership of the CISO (Chief Information Security Officer), the company will establish an information security management system and promote continuous improvement, including the establishment of a subcommittee specializing in security within the committee for managing company-wide risks, which is directly supervised by the representative director.
The Wacoal Group will comply with domestic and foreign laws, regulations, and contractual obligations regarding information security, and will respect international norms when such laws and regulations conflict with international norms.
The Wacoal Group provides products and services that take information security into consideration to deliver peace of mind and trust to our customers and business partners.
The Wacoal Group conducts risk assessments of information assets and manages and protects them appropriately. The company also takes physical, technical, and personnel measures to protect information assets from threats such as unauthorized access, crime, and disasters, and to ensure their confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
The company regularly provides education and training on information security to all employees and related personnel to raise awareness and disseminate knowledge.
The company develops appropriate defense, detection, and response systems and takes prompt and effective countermeasures against cyber-attacks and other threats.
This policy applies to all officers and employees of the Wacoal Group. The company likewise looks forward to the understanding and support of this Policy on the part of all business partners involved with our products and services.
In the event of an incident or accident related to information security, the company will respond promptly and appropriately to minimize damage and prevent recurrence.
The company regularly evaluates the effectiveness of our information security management system and measures, and makes continuous improvements, incorporating the knowledge of outside experts as necessary.
