- Wacoal Breast Care Act.
- “ Breast Care ”, a term probably unknown to many people,means care for breast cancer and other breast illnesses. “ Wacoal Breast Care Act ” is an activity aimed at a cure
for breast cancer.
• “Pink Ribbon Activities ” , action to support early discovery and diagnosis of breast cancer
• “Support for screening for breast cancer ” , action to support early discovery of breast cancer
• “Remamma project ” , action to support cosmetic restoration of bust line
These are activities that the entire Wacoal Group, including its overseas affiliations, aims to undertake.
- Remamma
- Wacoal's Remamma division was founded in 1974 since when it has played a role in the post-operational care of 180,000 women who have gone through breast removal surgery. Since 1993 Wacoal staff have been traveling around Japan offering consultation for measuring, fitting, and personal advice for women. As of end march 2010, one hundred thirty one such consultative meetings had been held.
- Tsubomi School
- The Tsubomi School is a program that was started in 2001. It is intended for elementary-school and junior-high girls and their mothers. The instructors are our employees, dispatched to program venues. The program teaches the girls, who are undergoing an important life stage of starting to wear adult women's underwear, how to select women's underwear in a relaxed way with their mothers.
- Environmental Conservation Activities
- The Wacoal Group is proactively committed to environment conservation activities as part of its corporate social responsibilities. Based on the Group's environment conservation policies, Wacoal steadily conducts environment conservation activities.
