An overview of the art-based communication activities that mirror Wacoal's values.
- The Spiral Building

- Spiral is a multipurpose cultural facility that opened its doors in Tokyo's Aoyama district in 1985 with a mission to bring together life and art. A variety of facilities are being operated; gallery and café for contemporary art exhibitions, hall for theater, music, symposium, and other various events, a lifestyle goods shop, a CD store, restaurants and a beauty salon. In its roles as both a transmitter and receiver for cultural trends, and a place where people can interact with art of all kinds, Spiral is generating great interest in all quarters.

- The Kyoto Costume Institute (KCI)

- The Kyoto Costume Institute was established in 1978, with assistance from Wacoal, to collect, store and research historical western clothes, underwear and accessories, and host public exhibitions. The collection of 30,000 items includes clothing, publications, posters and fashion plates. Exhibitions of KCI's research results have been held at museums in Paris, New York and London. In this way, KCI also serves as an important bridge for international cultural exchange.

- The NYUBO BUNKA KENKYU-KAI

- The NYUBO BUNKA KENKYU-KAI is an organization of medical, biological, social, and humanities specialists engaged in tackling the physical and mental problems associated with the female breast. It was established in 1991, with support from Wacoal. Through its research findings, discussions and information exchange, the organization is providing a deeper understanding of women.

- Spark Angels

- Besides our long-term research on women's bodies, Wacoal is also actively engaged in sports activities. Spark Angels, a program under which we employ members of female athletic and tennis teams as full-time staff, was formed with the purpose of helping female athletes to exhibit their full abilities and compete with style. Our athletes have performed very well in many competitions, and are playing an active role in demonstrating the joy of sports.
